Governments throughout the world are realizing that terrorism is a serious threat to be dealt with. The growing terrorist population is becoming more and more dangerous. Not only has this population merely grown; it has diffused into the cracks of our society we felt were very secure. Schools, buses, hotels and even temples are some of these places. Terrorists’ need for publicity has been around for a long time, but new media technologies are causing the problem to grow faster than ever. If we cannot put a stop to terrorism then the lives that we lead will be stricken with the fear of not knowing if we are safe to fly in a plane or take a ride in a bus.

At this stage, we feel that as a professional let us do some introspection, as to what role we as professionals can play in resurrecting the situation which is getting from worse to worst. In this initiative, we have managed to get very able speakers who would do a lot of justice to the topic:-
