 ERIS can prepare qualitative Tax Returns with cost effectiveness and high level of data security. We can either work with the software applications that client currently uses or can build interfaces with the client’s system so that it can retain the sensitive data within its organization.

METHODOLOGY

WORKFLOW

Process flow for carrying out US Tax Return outsourced assignment for the Project Managers, Tax Return Reviewers and Preparers is as follows:


1.    The basic requirement for any outsourcing assignment is to make source documents available. Depending upon the nature of engagement and requirements of the project as per Service Level Agreement (SLA), different people will involve themselves at different stages in the workflow.

2.    As to data requirements, soft copy of the input data is to be transferred to ERIS through FTP site. Each client will be provided with Log in / Password to access the processed data files as well as to place the source documents in the relevant folders. For clients willing to get their work done on online servers, access needs to be provided to us. In that case, the work will be performed on client’s server only. Any other process as per client’s requirement can be considered as well.

3.    Any deficiency in data received as to unclear images, dark images, errors, missing     data etc. would be reported and resolved before actual processing of tax return.

4.    Tax Return Preparers would start preparing returns on the software in accordance with the work allotment and priority. The software to be utilized will be predefined according to the SLA.

5.    The return once completed by preparer, will be reviewed for any corrections or adjustments by the reviewer. This will allow for a process of quality check and evaluation of tax return prepared. This stage of process will also involve finalization of issues unresolved in the tax return as well as queries raised during the tax return preparation. The unresolved issues at this stage will be forwarded to the client for further clarification.

6.    Finally, the completed tax returns would be transferred back to the client either through FTP site or in case of online work the returns would be notified as completed for client’s use.

7.    Invoice for the work done would be sent along with the supporting documents as to the number of returns processed and its complexity level as defined in the SLA.

8.    Periodical reports as per the terms of the SLA would be sent on on-going basis.
